Beauty Haven specialise in advanced waxing techniques -a must for summer, but do you know the difference between a Californian, Brazilian or Hollywood bikini line wax? Just to make sure you don’t get more than you bargained for let us explain !!!
It is important if you have never had waxing before that you have a patch test prior to treatment. You will also be asked to complete a consultation form to rule out any contraindications to treatment.
To clarify, a californian wax is a slightly extended bikini line (high leg), a brazilain is skinny line and a hollywood is all off !!
Following treatment you should not have a hot bath or shower for 24 hours and should use aloe vera gel or sudacream to soothe the area. It is also important to exfoliate between wax treatments to avoid ingrown hairs. we would recommend waxing treatments should be every 4-6 weeks.
