Autumn Make-up Trends
How trend aware are you? Do you have your finger on the pulse of everything fashionable and on trend? One of the main trends when a new season is upon us is make up. For Autumn/Winter 2011 the trend is simple,chic and glamourous. Think statement lips and flicks of eyeliner. These sophisticated looks dominated this seasons catwalks. Metallics are also making a comeback but be gentle with them,they are to be used in a much softer way than previous seasons.
Pewters,soft violet and varying shades of blues are the in vogue colours for eyes this season. The biggest must-have for this season are lashes,whether they be 3D lash extensions,strip lashes or your own,it is vital that they become the focal point of your look. Make sure that when applying your mascara that you use the brush to pull out even the very corner lashes to ensure that you coat every single hair. If you have fair coloured lashes and brows consider having them tinted to give them more depth of colour and get right into the lash line,so even if you do miss a few when applying your mascara it won’t be just as noticable.
Blushers, bronzers and highlighters can really help to give you that dewy glow and a cream blusher is the best way to achieve this. Simply blend into the skin with your fingertips until you have a soft glow.
