At Beauty Haven we offer a service called Face mapping. This is an indepth skin care analysis using a skin scanner machine. The machine lets the therapist examine your skin thoroughly whilst you look in a mirror to see for yourself. The face is mapped out into zones which your therapist will prescribe the best treatment/products for allowing the best possible care. The therapist will fill out a face mapping prescription sheet listing the Dermalogica products best suited to your skin and also recommending the best treatment suited to you.
Our Dermalogica Prescriptive facial can be customised to suit any skin type. Face mapping is carried out to ensure your therapist uses the most appropriate products to get the best possible results. If you have a skin concern, we will guide you through how to use your products the best way and recommend a facial regime to enhance the use of your products at home.
We also do facials suited to a certain concern or problem such as the anti aging power treatment and the hydroxy acid exfoliation. The Anti aging power treatment is a facial best suited to a dry, dehydrated skin helping to repair and revitalise damage whilst improving skin elasticity. Hydroxy acid exfoliation is ideal for an acne/oily prone skin, removing dull debris and stimulating cell renewal to brighten and smooth the skins texture. We would normally recommend a Dermalogica facial every 4-6 weeks, depending on the condition of the skin and the client’s concerns.
Dermalogica has such a wide range of products available to suit each individual skin type. There are ranges of products within Dermalogica which treat all different skin conditions such as acne, rosacea and hyper-pigmentation . The Ultracalming range is suitable for a sensitised, high coloured skin providing a calming and soothing effect. Great for Rosacea or after any treatment causing sensitivity. Medibac clearing is ideal for an acne, oily congested skin providing a matte effect to reduce shine and helping to keep the skin clear. Chromawhite TRx provides a brightening effect to a hyper-pigmented skin improving the skin texture. These are just a couple of the ranges within Dermalogica skincare.
