  1. TOP 5 BEAUTY TRAVEL TIPS

    TOP 5 BEAUTY TRAVEL TIPS

For some women flying is a total breeze, like they have just walked out of the beauty salon , yes Victoria Beckham , I am referring to you! Myself on the other hand flying is a total nightmare, I do genuinely believe that airline travel literally sucks the youth out of me!!

    H2O

When flying water is an in flight essential, and the teeny tiny cups they bring around during the food service is simply not enough.

Every passenger on the plane breathes in oxygen and releases carbon dioxide, in order to bring in more oxygen, fresh air is pumped into the cabin. As you can imagine, the air at such high altitudes has very little moisture making the cabin air extremely dry, drier than dry and it just circulates around the cabin, looking for moisture to steal, usually from your skin and hair.

I would recommend you to try and drink 1 litre of water for every 5 hours of flying, and just like when you are at home, sipping water constantly keeps your skin and hair and body from feeling hungover post-flight.

Take an empty water bottle and fill it up in the terminal before taking off.

Also a refreshing hydrating spray is a brilliant product to have on a plane, my favourite is DERMALOGICA MULTI ACTIVE TONER £31  as it refreshes and hydrates the skin whilst smoothing the surface and relieves your make up if you wearing any, if you are anything  like myself and have to have something on your face so you don’t feel totally exposed and naked!!

Sipping on Green Tea during a flight has great benefits also  due to its antioxidant properties.

    DITCH THE FOUNDATION

We all know flying with a full face of makeup is terrible for our skin, but there is no chance of me leaving the house and wandering around an airport barefaced, not on your nelly!!

Alternative, if you simply can not leave the house without some foundation is to apply a primer first – a silicone based liquid or cream that puts a layer of protection between skin and your makeup. This will help your foundation and blush last longer and help keep your skin from becoming dehydrated.

DERMALOGICA SKIN PERFECT PRIMER SPF 30 is an excellent primer it smoothes  out fine lines, provides a neutral tint for visible luminosity, radiance and evens out your skin tone. An SPF30 is another great bonus!!

DERMALOGICA SKIN TINT is ideal to replace your base with a moisturiser that has a tint to it, so you don’t feel as exposed, it comes in 3 colours :- light, medium and dark.

    HAIR

I know I have always felt rubbish after sitting in a small cramped seat for hours on end and by the end of a long flight or car journey my hair resembles that of Worzel Gummidge . What I find works a treat is rubbing some BUMBLE AND BUMBLE INVISIBLE OIL  through my hair to make it smooth and shiny, its a plane friendly bottle size and made of plastic that wont smash, I have to say it goes every where with me. You’ve got to start your trip with great hair!!

    PRODUCTS THAT MULTI TASK

So you forgot your makeup remover/shaving cream/cuticle cream/moisturizer or simply you are trying to condense your beauty products to make packing that slight bit easier.  Let me say  Olive oil and Coconut oil are both effective, natural and gentle moisturizers that you can use on your skin and nails and they’re impressively good at breaking down makeup at the end of the day.

Both oils can be used to tame frizz and flyway’s  in your hair and can be mixed in a empty spray bottle with warm water ( turns the coconut oil into liquid) with lemon juice (lightens the hair) to be applied during the day.

    PERK UP YOUR PEEPERS

If you are staying in a hotel or even a self cantering apartment, you can have a little mid-trip treat by keeping your eye cream in the mini-fridge. I love the FIRST AID BEAUTY EYE DUTY TRIPLE REMEDY because it has a unique stainless steel applicator tip that increases circulation and decreases puffy eyes.

A swollen face wont stand a chance!

So whether traveling by plane, train or automobile the art of getting there can wreak havoc on our skin and hair, so if you are planning or heading off for your summer holidays or a weekend  away break with friends or  family keep these tips in mind the next time you hit the road.

They will help your skin and hair stay in better shape, plus they should make you feel better during your travels too!

  2. BIKINI WAXING WITHOUT THE OUCH FACTOR

Comments Off on BIKINI WAXING WITHOUT THE OUCH FACTOR

BIKINI WAXING WITHOUT THE OUCH FACTOR

Bikini waxing is generally quite an unappealing thing to embark upon and lets not get started on DIY bikini waxing even for myself as a trained therapist, its a whole different ball game waxing down below yourself!! That’s another story……….

Yet Summer is here, (kind of) actually that’s unfair, the weather has been great so far, but with the Summer upon us, kiddies finishing school very soon, that means holidays, which means bikini’s,which means bikini lines which means HAIR REMOVAL!! Unless you want to leave it as nature intended, then fair play, its up to you.

Nowadays we have many options for hair removal, yet waxing is one we come back to time and time again. Ladies, we all know that waxing is better than shaving, but I can understand the major ouch factor involved in ripping your hair off your skin, may just tempt you into picking up your razor  instead!!

Please, Please don’t, you know you will regret it after….. what with the bristles that are left behind leaving that delightful scrathchy effect, the dark shadow and not to mention the irritated skin you want to disguise anyhow!!

Hopefully these tricks will make your waxing less painful and the whole experience just a tiny bit more pleasant …… or should I say bearable.

    DON’T GROW A  JUNGLE

You may try and delay it as much as you can, but waiting for your hair to grow fully is just going to make it hurt even more. We all know from experience that the more regular you are the less it hurts, so toughen up and get waxed every few weeks.

The ideal time to schedule your appointment is when your hair is about half an inch long so that its easy to grip and nothing gets left behind.

    CUT OUT THE ACIDITY

Your skin can get more sensitive as the acid increases in your body, to avoid the acidity avoid drinking alcohol or coffee a few good hours before your appointment

Alcohol, coffee and smoking can all rise the acidity in the body.

So any plans on meeting up with friends for a coffee date or a glass of vino to settle your nerves…… cancel!!

Make a point to drink plenty of H2O instead.

    EXFOILATE

Listen ladies we can all get a bit lazy in regards to looking after the skin on our body, yet a little bit of prep work really helps. By exfoliating, it helps to get rid of dead skin cells around your pores and this makes it easier for the hair to exit and helps reduce the risk of an ingrown hair.

    TAKE A HOT SHOWER /BATH

Who doesn’t love a long, warm shower? For myself any excuse to escape the manic of the house to elope to my bathroom and engage in a hot steamy date with MR BATH!!

if you heat your skin up with a hot shower or bath, it will cause the pores to enlarge and loosen the grip on the hair follicles, the looser the grip, the less pain it should cause. Therefore taking one before you start de fuzzing is a smart move.

Avoid cold water as that can tighten your pores instead of relaxing them.

    THAT TIME OF THE MONTH

Do not make the mistake of booking yourself for a wax a week right before, during or right after your period, when your skin is at its most sensitive!!

Not only will it hurt like BILLY O. but it can even cause your skin to swell.

2 weeks before or after that time of the month is ideal as your threshold for pain is much higher.

    GOOD OLDE BABY POWDER

Believe me I am the worlds worst client in regards with bikini waxing, I loathe it, although needs must, and vanity wins. So yes, despite the pain I will endorse and lie on the treatment couch with the tea lights twinkling, soothing music on in the background, legs parted and fear rushing through every fibre in my body only to state at the end every time “that wasn’t too bad”.

So many years ago a very patient therapist had the misfortune of treating me and boy am I glad…… This therapist dusted a little baby powder over my skin before waxing,  Why?? Well dusting baby powder over your skin can help keep the wax from pulling on your skin as it helps remove excess moisture and oils that the wax can stick to, believe me it really works.

    CHOOSE YOUR SALON WISELY

It is important to do your homework and find someone with experience who will take the necessary steps to reduce pain the entire process.

    POP A PAIN RELIEVER

Swallowing  Asprin or a Brufen an hour before your appointment can help dull the pain as well as calm your nerves.

For details on different bikini options available, please give us a call.

  3. SKIN REJUNEVATION :- YOUR QUESTIONS ANSWERED

Comments Off on SKIN REJUNEVATION :- YOUR QUESTIONS ANSWERED

    WHAT IS LASER/IPL SKIN REJUNEVATION?

Our skin ages due to sun exposure and decreased production of collagen. The Ellipse treatments for sun damaged skin will help you keep a younger and fresher look.

The Ellipse Intense Pulse Light Skin Rejuvenation offers a solution for all the visible signs of aging caused by either sun damage such as brown spots (pigmentation) redness (thread veins) and uneven skin texture (collagen).

Laser skin rejuvenation is a non- invasive medaesthetic treatment designed to remove skin blemishes and stimulate increased production of collagen which works to improve overall appearance of the skin. These treatments are considered very safe, there are some skin rejuvenation side effects but you will find these are usually minimal and are easy to cope with.

    HOW DOES IPL WORK?

IPL stands for Intense Pulse Light and it works by emitting a range of lightwaves that are then tuned and targeted at the hemoglobin ( the red blood cells in the blood vessels) or the melanin (the brown pigment in freckles and age spots).

The light beam passes through the skin and is absorbed by either the hemoglobin or melanin resulting in damage to the vessel wall or fragmenting of melanin pigment.

These tiny vessels and the melanin pigment are then absorbed by the body, rending them less visible.

    HOW IS THE TREATMENT PERFORMED?

Before the treatment can be performed a consultation and patch test  MUST be carried out. This is essential to ensure you are not currently receiving or under going any medical attention that could be contra-indicated to the treatment, and a patch test is to ensure that you don’t have a reverse reaction to the light energy that is being used.

Once that has been approved you can begin the treatment :-

    *  Firstly the skin is cleansed to ensure any make up is completely off and that no residue is on the skin.

    *  A thin layer of Coupling Gel is applied to the skin and this is used to guide the light into the skin.

    *  Protective eyewear will be provided

    *  The light applicator is placed onto the skin and a short pulse of light is released. The applicator is placed on to the neighbouring area and the process is repeated until the entire face is treated.

    *  The gel is removed

    *  A soothing cooling mask is applied for 10 mins

    *  Aloe Vera is applied to cool and soothe the skin, followed by an SPF.

    WHO IS SUITABLE FOR TREATMENT?

Treatments are most efficient in clients with light skin who are not sun tanned at the time of the treatment.

If your skin is less tanned, the contrast between the age spots/ blood vessels and background colour of the skin is greater, making treatment easier.

However the Ellipse treatment has pre programmed settings for different skin types that deliver the correct energy output for your complexion.

    HOW DOES THE TREATMENT FEEL?

Treatment is mildly uncomfortable, most clients myself included will describe the sensation as moderate and like a warm pin prick, no anaesthetics are required and many clients describe the treatment as practically pain free.

    HOW MANY TREATMENTS ARE REQUIRED?

It is difficult to predict the number of sessions required as it depends on the nature of the pigmentation to be treated, their size and the clients skin type and colour.

I would recommend a min of three treatments at 4 week  intervals.

HOW LONG DOES EACH TREATMENT TAKE?

A full face treatment takes less than 20 minutes, you should see an improvement after the first treatment, but up to three treatments may be required.

DO I NEED TO TAKE SPECIAL PECAUTIONS BEFORE AND AFTER TREATMENTS?

The light that is used is completely safe it is however very important to avoid tanning whether that is in the form of natural sunlight, sunbeds or even self tanning products before and during the treatment.

Reason being your tanned skin will absorb more light, which makes treatment less effective, the light energy is attracted to the pigment in the skin and the more apparent the contrast is the more effective the treatment.

False tan in the form that comes from a bottle or a spray gun, is not allowed as the light energy can not tell whether its a real tan or not and will still be attracted to the pigment which again would result in a poor result with a possibility of a burn. The reason that a burn is possible is too much energy would be drawn into the skin as there isn’t enough contrast between skin colour and pigmentation.

Apart from avoiding the sun and self tanning products during your treatment, no special care is necessary.

I would recommend clients with sensitive skin would benefit from applying a cold compress (a cold damp cloth) to the face immediately after treatment.

After the treatment avoid the sun for 30 days as your skin is photo sensitive and exposure to the sun can lead to more pigmentation, so even on those cloudy days when there seems to be no sign of sun the rays are still penetrating through ensure a minimum of SPF 30 is worn!!

Please do not hesitate to contact us if any of your questions remain unanswered.

  4. IS ELECTROLYSIS WORTH IT?

Comments Off on IS ELECTROLYSIS WORTH IT?

ELECTROLYSIS IS IT WORTH IT ?

To weigh up whether electrolysis is worth it, you have to consider all options available and what your needs, concerns, requirements and time makes sense for you and your lifestyle.

Here I have put together my own thoughts, opinion’s and personal journey and from that I hope to answer any questions and concerns you may have to allow yourself to assess whether  electrolysis is the right option for YOU.

    ELECTROLYSIS

Electrolysis is a method of removing hair, not just  a temporary method either but actually the ONLY PERMANENT method on the market that is available to date.

Electrolysis treats each hair follicle individually with a very fine disposable needle to permanently destroy the follicles ability to reproduce, thereby eradicating hair growth on completion of the course of treatment.

The needle is inserted into the hair follicle and an electric current is released which cuts the supply of blood and oxygen off resulting in permanent hair removal!! Bear in mind its not like you can do this once and be done with all the hairs in one area, each pore that produces hair can average 3 different hairs in the one follicle. So the hair the electrolysis is destroying is only 1 off 3, you will essentially have to go back to that hair follicle 2 more times to be  “hairless”.

Virtually any area , apart from the insides of the nose and inner ear can be treated thankfully I myself don’t require that as off yet!

Electrolysis works on all skin types and hair types including blonde, grey, white and red, unlike with Laser/IPL which is not effective on light hair since it relies on the pigment as a chromophore. With electrolysis the current being released in the hair follicle itself it doesn’t require there to be pigment in the hair for the energy to travel down.

    HOW FAST IS THE RESULT?

On average results can be seen anywhere between 6 and 18 months of regular appointments. The number of sessions required will really depend on the area being treated , the density of the hair, hormones, genetics, health and any medical issues that the client may have.

    POSSIBLE PAIN AND ANY RISKS

While you think of needles and electric currents, I am sure you are picking up the phone to arrange your next waxing appointment but wait ………. waxing doesn’t come pain free either.

The sterile needle that is used, is super fine, you should not feel its insertion into the pore as the needle is as fine as your hair itself , yes you will feel the release of the current when its released, bear in mind its released for a matter of seconds. How painful? I hear you ask, well it does depend , some areas are more sensitive than others, for example the upper lip, and there is a wide range of tolerance levels amongst people.

I myself have experienced the sensation of the current, its what I would describe as a sharp heat sensation that is bearable for a short burst of time.

When performed by a professional any risk of scarring or skin damage is extremely slight.

    MY OWN PERSONAL JOURNEY

I personally was so fed up with the cycle of letting my hair grow to be ripped off and then only be hair free for the maximum  10-14 days to repeat this cycle AGAIN, AND AGAIN AND AGAIN.

This process was literally driving me bananas especially regarding facial hair, not only did I feel self conscious, I was always preparing my waxing appointments in the hope my hair growth cycle would fit around any events , engagements or last minute plans.

So the quest begun….. I was looking for a quick fix that was going to be more permanent, now fortunate for myself I work in the beauty industry and 10 years ago   I heard about the Laser/IPL system that gave you permanent hair reduction.

For anyone that has ventured down that route you will know that the intial outlay is high, so there I was cheque book in hand (ok, it was 10 years ago) seeing light at the end of the tunnel, only to be told I wasn’t suitable.

I was deflated “Not suitable, look at the hairs!!” Yet with my Irish colouring the Laser won’t pick up the pigment in the hair to be able to travel down into the hair follicle to cut off the blood supply to cease the hair growth.

What I was recommended was Electrolysis……. and here my journey towards hair free days begun, and do I recommend it? YES most definitely.

    IS ELECTROLYSIS WORTH IT ?

If you are tired of countless hours spent grooming, plucking, tweezing and shaving only to endure painful razor burn and ingrown hairs, perhaps you should consider the amazing technology offered by electrolysis hair removal.

Bear in mind that while you may see some type of a reduction in hair growth with other types of hair removal product or methods, electrolysis is the only method that can provide you with complete hair removal permanently. However this does not happen overnight.

However, any way  you look at it, facial hair is always going to be something that people want to get rid off, male or female. The sheer amount of products on todays market are aimed towards removing, reducing or hiding  facial hairs shows us that.

So I  would highly recommend Electrolysis for anyone that is troubled with excess facial hair, and their skin and hair colouring not suitable for laser or IPL, just bear in mind that with each hair follicle being treated separately it is a time consuming process yet the only treatment that can provide any kind of permanent results.

Electrolysis can over time can provide you with very long lasting results!

  5. ANTI AGING SKIN CARE TIPS

Comments Off on ANTI AGING SKIN CARE TIPS

Hands up, wish your skin looked younger?? I can bet the majority of people reading this are saying “yes” myself included. Aging can change your skins appearance as early as your 30th birthday and if you are fortunate with good genes to pass 30 untouched I can assure you, that later in midlife the aging process will kick in depending on your habits.

There are certain factors we have no control over like our estrogen levels that lead to the sagging skin or the genes that give us a particular bone structure, however there are also plenty of external influences on how your skin ages-and the right anti aging care that can help ease the damage.

    ITS ALWAYS SUNNY EVERYWHERE

Right now we certainly feel truly blessed with clear blue skies and temperatures of 21-23 degrees, it is glorious and joyful to apply SPF in the morning knowing the day ahead is filled with sunshine and heat!!

Yet on those cloudy days of our British Summer that we are more accustomed to, don’t assume you are safe against photo damage just because the sun is barely up when you leave for work and sets on your return home.

Unlike UVB light, UVA rays travel through windows in the office, home and car.

Dermatologists agree that UV exposure is the number 1 skin ager out there. The sun damages our elastin and causes loss of collagen which translates to drooping, a lost jawline and wrinkles…….. wonderful, here we are thinking we have a healthy sun kissed look and lets fast forward the years and with excess sun exposure without SPF and we will age before our time FACT!

Now I know UVA and UVB rays are not unavoidable, no one needs to be a hermit but armed with the knowledge we have today , we need to be using a SPF of 30 on our faces, spreading it to our necks and ears.

There are really no excuses, as if you do tend to forget sunscreen, try the newish make up bases and moisturizers with UV protection built in. On the downside you might not get the maximum amount of SPF, but the plus for many women is that at least they remember some protection every day –  which is better than going without.

    DIET

Focus as much on what you put in your body as on what you put on skin.

The skin is the body’s largest organ, after all, so our diet directly affects how you visibly age.

The best advice is too eat plenty of omega 3 and omega 6 fatty acids, ideally they should come from natural sources including

    Olive Oil

Ground Flaxseed  –  can be drizzled on salads and vegetables

    Fish  –  salmon and tuna

Green leafy veggies like kale and spinach have some of the highest vitamin content of all vegetables so eat up.

Fish oil supplements are another source of these important fats, which help to protect the moisture barrier. This is the protective top layer of skin that keeps moisture in but tends to thin as we age, causing dry skin.

You need to cut way back on processed  foods and sugars, they are full of preservatives that promote inflammation, a biochemical process that damages the normal formation of cells

    SLEEP

Not getting enough Zzz’s  can cause stress, skin cells are some of the most rapidly rejuvenating cells in the body. Take away adequate rest and your skin will suffer.

The body depends on rest/sleep for every single thing it does, when skin cells don’t turn over quickly enough, our skin looks dull and lifeless and so do we.

BOTTOM LINE  :-  Don’t deprive your body and skin of sleep – it uses that time to regenerate and to recover from your day to day activities.

    SAY AHHH………

Stress is a major factor to create an aging skin, body and mind and although modern day life has brought us many great things, what normally comes hand in hand with that is stress. Stress is a tricky one,  near impossible to avoid yet needs to be managed! So whether its a facial, massage or even a pedicure be sure to pamper yourself as your health and appearance are positively influenced by increasing your emotional and mental well being.

A visit to your Beauty salon is a foolproof way to promote stress relief and aid relaxation.

    LOTION UP

Daily moisturizing is the best defense against dry skin, applying lotion right after you step out of the shower seals in the moisture that your skin has just absorbed.

Especially the hands since they are often the 1st indicators of age, so invest in a rich moisturizer with SPF to keep in your bag, car or office.

    BOTTOM LINE

Patience is a virtue, but patience doesn’t know anything about wrinkles, by taking heed of the tips above will provide you with youthful skin well beyond your 30s.

Just remember  :- the path to smoother, younger and healthier skin is proved with daily broad spectrum sun protection. Without that core step, nothing else you do  to reduce signs of aging matters, even the best products wont overcome the type of damage that UV rays can dish out.

  6. BEST BEAUTY ADVICE WE HAVE EVER HEARD

Comments Off on BEST BEAUTY ADVICE WE HAVE EVER HEARD

BEST BEAUTY ADVICE WE HAVE EVER HEARD

    SMILE!!

    Smile often

A woman is most beautiful when she smiles

    DRINK WATER

    Hydrate from the inside out

One of the simplest and most effective beauty advice is to drink at least 8 glasses of water daily. Water is not only beneficial for weight loss, when you drink the recommended amount of water in a day, you are washing out toxins and adding hydration to the epidermis (skin).

Although you are most probably using a moisturizer on your skin and if not therefore should be,  its always best to treat problems from the inside out.

Did you know “studies have shown that dry skins tend to age faster than oilier skins” You need to keep your skin as hydrated as possible to prevent premature lines and wrinkles especially in the sensitive eye area.

    BE A NATURAL BROW BEAUTY

Don’t go all tweezer happy  –  Full brows are much more flattering.

I am not saying let true nature take in course and leave alone, certainly tweeze those stray out of place random hairs where necessary, then fill in your brows with a pencil one shade lighter than your natural brow colour. This will create a softer more natural effect.

Using the same shade can look quite harsh.

    APPLY SUNSCREEN DAILY

While mo9st children try to wiggle away from their parents as they cover them with sunscreen on holiday, at the beach or even here in Northern Ireland (I know, I know we don’t exactly get a summer as such, but believe it or not those harmful UV rays can still penetrate through those thick clouds) , I never did!!

My Mother has survived malignant melanoma and the best beauty advice she ever gave me was to stay out of the sun and  to wear sunscreen every single day. I now make sure almost ALL of my products have SPF in them, from my moisturizer, my lipstick and my foundation.

    LEMONS

Lemons are great for the skin, I would start my daily ritual off with a glass of hot water and a slice of lemon. Great for waking up your system in the morning also really beneficial for detoxifying and cleansing your system.

Yet did you know that they are great for the skin undiluted as well! Used gently on the skin they remove surface dead skin cells and help ro reduce age spots.

    DUNK YOUR NAILS TO DRY

We have all been there watching another episode on Netflix whist we have placed one self still,  decide to be productive and paint our nails (its a woman things double tasking, must be in our blood) only to realize post painting the uncomfortable urge to visit the bathroom overcomes you.

If you have no quick dry product lying around, dip your painted nails in a bowl of ice cold water to help them dry faster. It really works!!

    VASELINE

I love this wonder product, it makes my lips smooth, great affordable price, comes in a handy handbag size container and can be used anywhere.

What I use it for often and find great is to mix with a cheap body lotion to give my legs a nice sheen.

In the winter months I find myself putting Vaseline on my tootsies and then placing a pair of cotton socks on before bed and in the morning I have beautiful soft feet.

    KEEP HAIR IN PLACE

If you have trouble getting your hair clips and bobby pins to stay in your hair this technique should help…..

spray the clips with dry shampoo right before slipping them in, the product givesa the clips a slightly tacky feel so they  wont slide out, whether your hair is thick or fine.

    PERFECT YOUR FAKE TAN

I think us ladies are always on a mission to perfect our false tan application although without allowing for prep time its never going to be easy to achieve. If you haven’t allowed yourself time to properly prep even to follow this simple easy rule you should find an more even result.

For perfect fake tan, apply a little moisturising lotion to bony or areas prone to dry patches :-  ankles, knees, wrists and heels allow the lotion  to absorb in and then  apply your tan.

The moisturizer will act as a barrier so the tan is diluted and doesn’t stick to the dry areas resulting in darker patches.

    MAKE LIPSTICK LAST

The key to long wearing transfer proof lipstick is layering.

First  –  Apply colour directly to your lips

Next  –  Separate a two-ply tissue and hold one sheet against your lips whilst dusting translucent powder on top

Next  –  Remove the sheet and apply another layer of colour

Finally  –  Blot one last time with the sheet and you are good to go for hours!!

    MANUCKA HONEY

    What a wonderful health staple.

Not only do I take a spoonful of this every morning you can also use this as a face mask once a week.

Also great for sore throats and upset tummies.

    GET BEAUTY SLEEP

Turns out beauty sleep isn’t a myth after all, make sure you get enough rest and your skin will thank you for it and show the benefits.

I will finish off with a SURPRISE!

Concealer is only half of the battle when it comes to fixing flaws, to perfect your complexion and no matter what your skin tone may be, try lipstick in a warm pink.

It distracts peoples eyes from the blemishes and any other imperfections.

The secret to living well and longer is

    EAT HALF

    WALK DOUBLE

    LAUGH TRIPLE

    &

    LOVE WITH MEASURE
